The Urological Association of Kerala (UAK) was officially established in early 1983, with Dr. P.A. Abraham serving as its first President and Dr. K. Sasidharan as the Secretary. The inaugural meeting, organized by Dr. Augustine Komaranchath, was held at the Lotus Club in Cochin. Since its inception, UAK has consistently held Mid-term and Annual Conferences with dedication and punctuality.

Through the years, UAK has continued to evolve under the guidance of esteemed Presidents and Secretaries, contributing significantly to the advancement of Urology in Kerala. The Association remains a vital force, fostering collaboration, education, and innovation within the Urological community in the state.
