This Oration is dedicated to the memory of the late Prof. Roy Chally, a distinguished teacher of Urology and a founding member of the Urological Association of Kerala. Prof. Chally made significant contributions to the field, having served as President of UAK, Secretary of the Urological Society of India (USI), and later as USI President. (The UAK Annual Oration was renamed as Prof. Roy Chally Oration from 2013).

Orators are selected by the Executive Committee based on criteria approved by the General Body. The Orator is invited to suggest a topic for the oration, reflecting their experience and expertise. Complimentary registration and hospitality will be provided by the Organizing Committee. Additionally, UAK will cover the cost of round-trip economy airfare via the shortest route for the Orator to attend the conference and deliver the oration. The Association honors the Orator with a memento and a certificate in recognition of their contribution.
