Urological Association of Kerala

Eligibility Criteria

Full Members:

  • Qualified Urologists actively practicing in Kerala.
  • Must have their urological qualifications registered with the State Medical Council of Kerala.



Associate Members:

  • Postgraduate residents currently enrolled in M.Ch or DNB Urology courses in Kerala.
  • Non-postgraduate residents working in the Urology department of an institution recognized for M.Ch or DNB Urology courses in Kerala, provided they have postgraduate qualifications that meet the eligibility criteria for enrolment in these courses.



Affiliate Members:

  • Specialists in the modern system of medicine, registered with the Indian Medical Council or any State Medical Council in India, practicing a specialty other than Urology, but with a strong interest in Urology (e.g., Radiologists, Pathologists, Microbiologists).
  • Scientists with a Ph.D. in any field of science or a degree in Engineering, actively engaged in research or applied work relevant to Urology.
  • Qualified Urologists practicing outside Kerala, with their Urology qualifications registered with Medical Councils in India or abroad (excluding Kerala).
  • Must formally apply for Affiliate Membership following the procedures laid down by the Association.
  • Applications will be reviewed by the Council and, if found in order, presented to the General Body for approval.
